Computer Repair

by Sonja W » Mon Apr 30, 2007 1:50 pm

Something scary is happening to my laptop and I need professional help to diagnose and fix it.

Can anyone recommend a service for this? One that won't do unneccessary things to run up charges. Someplace/someone honest and smart.

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

Mac or PC? My wife knows a guy who does great work on her Macs, but he won't touch Windows stuff.

It's a PC - a two-year-old Gateway laptop. And it's too young to die.

In the Southwest, SEC Computers has a good reputation.

BTW, they are located on Rockford Ln where Chicos started years ago...

Could you give me the info for your Mac guy? The logic board on my iBook bit the dust and I'm trying to decide if it's worth repairing.
