Miraculously, we escaped this outage - of course, I bought a generator yesterday, so I figured that would mean we would not lose power!

We're good in our corner of Old Lou, but I understand a big part is dark.

Our section of Crescent Hill seems to have been spared, and I can see lights in houses all around us - also over across the way at the Baptist Seminary.

This is getting CRAZY!

We are OK, but the area of 1st Street between Broadway and St Catherine was out around 9:00 tonight. i heard on the radio that a pole was down at 4th and Oak, but decided not to investigate on my way home.

We lost power in the Fern Creek area close Charlie Vettiner park for about three hours.

The area around Preston and Hill lost power for a few hours, but then again if someone sneezes too hard they do...

Working from home today - office has no power. Heart of the Highlands - I guess a big tree fell and is currently blocking (well as of this morning anyway) Cherokee and there is no power in a couple of blocks.

The power flickered a couple of times here in La Grange but other than inheriting someone's trampoline we had no problems. A buck or two a month...probably not too outrageous considering the amount of damage.

Just got power back today (11am Fri Morn) after losing it on Wed at 6PM.
This is just too long, and too often, and I for one am fed up! Like Alan Hincks says "If a moth farts, we lose power"

Did not get very good responses from the LG&E call center once connected with a live person. I guess you could say it was not what I wanted to hear, but they offered no time frame what so ever! You would think if this line keeps getting screwed up during a storm, that something would be done to it to make sure it does not happen again! but noooooooo,

Fed up, yep fed up.
