Alternative Medicine

by Megan Watts » Mon Sep 08, 2008 3:33 pm

I Have been having some health/pain issues for the last 3+ months and have already tried the tradional/surgery options. does anyone know of a good Osteopathic Physician or practice that does alternative medicine. I'm not into the new age healing or anything like that, but would be open to other things such as accupuncture, etc. Thanks!

Megan- sorry to hear you are not well. I was speaking to the chiropractor from this new place in Westport Village just last night. They have an integrated alternative health care team that includes osteopathic treatment. I pass this information on only as hearsay since I have never been to the place.
Feel better soon.

Try Bluegrass Chinese Medicine. Talk to Jeffery Russell, M.S., C.Ac.
Tell him his friends at BBC say hello.

Hope things have improved by now, but if not...
3 months doesn't exhaust a good allopathic (western) doctor's options.
There is something called a differential diagnosis, and all the possible causes and treatments aren't discussed initially, just the simplest to try first. If you didn't go back to discuss why you didn't get better, you might have missed out on the cure.

Why not put it on here? I am interested and may use somebody.

This is an old thread, but did anyone ever try any of these alt. medicine places? I'm in the market for an accupucturist and would love feedback about this thread!

Thanks,
Jen
