DE LA TORRE’S ANNOUNCES FALL SPANISH CLASSES

LOUISVILLE, KY (August 22, 2008) – De la Torre’s, Louisville’s only Spanish restaurant, announces the Spanish classes fall schedule. Join Maggie de la Torre for beginning Spanish classes and conversational Spanish classes at the restaurant. Classes meet weekly at no charge:

Beginning Spanish Class – Tuesday Nights
8 weeks, Tuesday, September 9-Tuesday, October 28, 6:30-7:30 pm

Beginning Spanish Class – Thursday Nights
8 weeks, Thursday, September 11-Thursday, October 30, 6:30-7:30 pm

Spanish Conversation Class – Thursday Nights
Ongoing, Thursdays, beginning September 11, 7:30-8:30 pm

“In today’s global economy it is important to know the Spanish language,” comments Maggie de la Torre, proprietor. “We offer a fun environment to learn Spanish and enjoy the culture.”

De la Torre’s and La Bodega serve tapas Tuesday-Saturday, beginning at 5:30 pm, with full menu service late night Fridays and Saturdays until 2 am. The menu can be found at http://www.delatorres.com. The restaurant is located at 1606 Bardstown Road in the Bonnycastle neighborhood of the Highlands. Outside seating is available along the Bardstown Road streetscape, or on the private patio behind the restaurant. For reservations, call (502) 456-4955.

I thought so, too. It's really tempting to sign on, although given that I speak poor French and basic Italian, I wonder if fooling around with Spanish, too, would make my head explode.

I think for you knowing some french and some italian, the spanish would mix right in since they are all romance languages...

there are only two roughly spanish phrases I know...
