 They say "if you don't want to know the answer, don't ask the question" but as newcomers to Oldham County we just have to (somewhat hesitatingly) ask...just what the heck is a "Corn Hole" tournament.

David,

Seriously...My apologies if my attempt at something resembling humor was misunderstood or somehow unappreciated. Honestly though we have never heard of a "Corn Hole" tournament...I'll have to check out the website you sent along. That's probably the best way to get to the "bottom" of things. :P 8) BTW, in Minnesota where we lived for many years they do things at like chopping/sawing logs and eating fish soaked in lye (Lutefisk) for fun at their local celebrations...So nothing really surprises us.

I got the humor and asked the same question when it started up big here. I started to say "It's not the game you learned in the big house" but with out an emoticon (which I don't use) I was afraid you'd think I was taking a shot. After the Organic Human Milk comment, I know you'll fit in here.

On another note, I have bourbon barrel staves available on a regular basis if you want to smoke something with them.

I've been privy to the game of "Corn hole"before it became the "next big thing" ....

My wife's family is from OHIO and they have been doing this for at least the nine and a 1/2 years I've known them.....

It's kind of like Euchre!!! You either know it or you don't....(I'll go blind)

OK...went to the website. NOW I get it. Looks like it could be a lot of fun. Ya know, now that I think about it, I may have seen folks playing this game or at least a variation of it at a couple of BBQ get togethers. Never knew what the game was called. Hmmm, interesting, ya learn something new all the time.

The more you drink, the more fun it is! I'm terrible, but at least I have fun!

When we moved here a few years back one of my neighbors introduced his family and told us his wife was the local cornhole champion, it was hard to keep a straight face as we had no idea what he was talking about.
The tall one wants white toast, dry, with nothin' on it.
And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

Yeah, before it was really "big" here, my aunt and uncle went online to look up dimensions for building a cornhole set. They typed "cornhole" into Google. I can only IMAGINE what they saw. I still laugh every time I think about it!
