Lebowski Fest with Food Network's "Ace of Cakes" July 11-12

7th Annual Lebowski Fest in Louisville: Friday July 11th & Saturday 12th, 2008
Food Network's "Ace of Cakes" will be delivering a cake on Saturday July 12th to celebrate the 10th year of the movie.

( I wish the Lebowski Fest let Marsha or Leah design and bake the cake for this local and weird movie festival.
Then the feature could be called the "Queen of Cakes" instead of a so-called ace.)

I have to say I am fascinated by watching that show. I always wonder exactly how much cake is really edible from their cakes though...
I would love it if Leah made the cake. Can't say I've ever had Marsha's desserts..unless she made the bread pudding at Cae Lou Lou which was divine.

I have sent Duff an email inviting him and his crew to eat at Lou Lou this weekend when they're in town. I'll keep you guys posted if he shows up!

I was at Lebowski Fest and had a great time. I had a piece of the cake but didn't get a look at it before it was cut up. I'm here to confirm that their cakes are indeed edible. The chunk I had was yellow cake, very moist, with a White Russian-flavored icing.
