How about an augmented list...
Pro:
Pleasant surprises like the Floral Terrace walking court in Old Louisville or the ambience of Riverbend Winery.
Sapat.
Gagel's Nursery waaaay down off of Dixie Highway.
Kentucky Center's speaker series
More and more people switching more of more of their yards from putting-green grass to native plants and vegetable gardens.
Con:
Fine arts schedule mostly non-existent in spring.
Does anyone ever stop for red lights?
Local businesses (well, one in particular right near Ear X-Tacy) that must think they are "Keeping Louisville Weird" by (well, to be fair, just two of their employees are like this) suspiciously following customers around the store and providing poor quality and downright rude service.
The desire by so many to live in the suburbs and the shift of restaurants and commerce further out east.
What does it take for Roger Baylor to open a New Albanian on this side of the river (preferably within walking distance)?
It's About Time:
Having now seen the Findlay Market in Cincinnati and the enormous farmer's market in Nashville, there's no reason that Louisville should not have a strong year-round farmer's market. Looks like it's now happening, but do the Browns and Fraziers have to do everything?
