Looking for a Garage to Rent

by Leann C » Sat Jun 21, 2008 3:04 pm

I know this is a long shot, but here goes... We have a vintage car that we have been keeping in a relative's garage. (We have no covered parking at our house). We just learned that we'll need to find a new place to keep the car. So we're looking for a garage to rent somewhere around the Highlands/Cherokee Park area preferrably. If anyone runs across a garage for rent, please let me know. Thanks! We'll also be posting on Craigs List etc.

i was just talking with the guys at work about this today (ironically).

Louisville Underground

$59.00 flat rate for any size car (monthly)

Louisville Underground
1841 Taylor Avenue
Louisville, KY 40213

It's in the vicinity of the zoo, if that's close enough to the Highlands for you.
I don't know what someone would charge for garage rental, but this seems quite reasonable, and you're not going to have to worry about being "evicted".

I put vegetables in your desserts, white chocolate with your fish and other nonsense stuff that you think shouldn't make sense, but coax the nonsense into something that makes complete sense in your mouth. Just open your mind, mouth and eat.

Personally, I've been to Louisville Underground (for business) and its a really cool way to store your extra stuff and also cars and boats. The Limestone there is as secure as you could imagine - no leakage and keeps your stuff stored at the same tempurature year-round. I think it's like 50+ degrees or so. Very cool concept. It's over on Taylor Avenue off of Poplar Level. You would never know it is there. Follow the road all the way until it ends and curves left.

Thanks for all the input! After I typed the question, I remembered about the Louisville Underground and checked out their website. Now, I'm just trying to sell my husband on the idea. He's still holding out hope for a garage to magically appear right next to our house. We'll probably do the Underground thing once the magic wand doesn't show up.
