Appliance Repairperson

Can anyone recommend someone to have a look at my gas range? The electronic panel on the back keeps beeping. I looked the code up in the manual online and it said to call for service. (Surprise, surprise.)

What brand is your range? Usually if you go to the manufacturer's website, they have a list of approved local repairpeople.

I have always had great luck w/ whoever Chenoweth Appliances tells me to call. They are a small company, and seem to have the best rolodex in town for repairmen.

We've used A Able Appliance Repair several times and have always been quite satisfied.

Unfortunately, you may need a new electronics panel for your range/oven. I had to have one replaced. It seems that heat (range/oven) and electronics don't go well together. ::smacks forehead::

We had an electronics panel go out on our furnace last winter. In January. On the coldest night of the year. I was not happy about this.

I have bought most of my major appliances at Sears...

They will match most any ones price and the service, if something goes wrong, is better than any other "Big Box" places...

Heck, you could call them and they have most of the parts available to fix Darn near anything!

As I remember, the electronics panel was in the neighborhood of $600. And yes that was significantly less than replacing the oven (electric convection in a somewhat odd size.)
