Robert S says flooding is over. Foodie content too.

by Doogy R » Sat Mar 22, 2008 8:48 pm

The Ohio River is continuing to recede and should fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon, said Robert Szappanos, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Louisville.

The water level at the upper gauge of the McAlpine Locks and Dam was 25 feet about 4 p.m., two feet over flood stage, he said. At the lower gauge, it was at 56 feet, a foot above flood stage.

Here are links to photo galleries of the flooding and the cleanup.

From a foodie standpoint, they mention and/or show pix of Eva Mae's, Cunningham's Creekside and CQ.

I sure won't disagree with what Harrod's Creek looked like yesterday. I was talking about the restaurant though.
