For Sale: Samsung 50" DLP Widescreen HDTV - 1080i ($900)

by Ethan Ray » Mon Mar 03, 2008 2:30 pm

(Thanks to Robin for permission to post this.)

My longtime roommate is moving out of state (then out of the country), and we're trying to sell the TV we purchased together to help with his moving expenses.

We had a buyer, who fell through when his truck's drive axle broke (and thus went the money he had to purchase it).
and are scrambling to hopefully sell the TV before he moves

The lamp for the TV was just replaced less than 2 weeks ago, and should last you several years.
If i recall correctly the TV is a 2005/06 model.

Do to the fact that we just invested $150 on the lamp we're pretty firm on the price, to try and recoup that cost.
(we originally posted this on craigslist for $1050, pre-lamp failure, so we've already come down $300 from our original asking price)

Also: I don't have the transportation means to deliver... So this is available for pickup only!
I'll note that we have transported the TV in the back of a Ford Explorer previously.
We live just off of Bardstown in the Highlands, so it's pretty centrally located to transport anywhere in town.

I'm waiting for my "economic stimulus" check to purchase my new TV...It looks like a great deal but unfortunately a 50" projection TV will not make it down and around the corner of the steps that lead to the "mancave". I will ask around some other folks I know that don't frequent this forum however. Good luck with it....
