Obedience by Will Lavender

Louisville author Will Lavender's first novel, Obedience, has just been published by an imprint of Random House. He'll be reading from the book tomorrow night at Carmichael's on Frankfort Avenue and I'm giving away five copies of the book on Consuming Louisville. I think it's great that a young author from Louisville has had his first book published so I'm just trying to drum up as much local support/local sales for his book as possible.

That is great Michelle! Saw Will @ WHAS today-I had a client on and he was on after the Oscar Nite segment. He has garnered some really good press coverage and hope the book sales go well.

I hope they rescheduled this because of the weather situation. I was really looking forward to this, but the inch thick sheet of ice between my place and Louisville prevented driving. Any update? Did they go ahead with it?
