Boston Terrier Missing in Germantown

by Erin Riedel » Sun Jan 27, 2008 9:27 pm

Our Boston terrier slipped out of our yard in Germantown this afternoon. He's microchipped but not wearing his collar (dammit!). If anyone in the neighborhood sees him, please call me at 418-9312. He's very friendly and answers to Otis. He might sound like he's growling, but he's just snorting because of his short little nose. If you see him and can grab him and hold onto him for a few minutes, please do; call me and I'll come get him immediately. Thank you!

Any luck finding Otis?
I live in the neighborhood and will certainly keep a look out.

Any particular part of Germantown, if we happen to be out walking?

Actually, Otis came home today, thank goodness! It turns out that a woman just around the corner took him in yesterday, kept him overnight, and then took him to the vet today where they read his microchip and found out how to contact us. He's snoring in my bed even as I write this. :)

Oh, happy day!!!
Congratulations on getting your baby back.
Another success story for microchips reuniting pets with their owners. I'm a BIG believer in them.
