I'm debating whether and how to review it. The food is good, but the menu is on a chalkboard and they often run out of stuff. There's a friendly server who has no English to speak of, and a sullen server who speaks fairly good Englih but may be the friendly server's teen-age daughter, crabby about being forced to work.

If you like to go to really authentic places and get a touch of cuisine and culture, and if you have a good sense of humor and are prepared to put up with the unexpected at mom'n'pop storefront eateries, you'll have a good time here, and it won't cost you much.
I think I can write that. And pupusas! And baleadas, which are like big pupusas with lots of stuff inside! And tacos, too, and a fried whole fish ...
