Led Zeppelin would be great, now that they are going to start touring again! I'd love to see Nine Inch Nails, again, too! ;)

the Beatles....

Um, I'm not representative of main stream anything anymore, but anyway:

Dave Matthews

Paco De Lucia, John McLaughlin, Al Di Meola (together, or Paco De Lucia himself)

Lyle Lovett and His Large Band

Cavalia (of Cirque d'Soleil)

Jeremy,

In the linked article it mentioned that it is known that we could get the Boston Pops. Local favorites, and critically aclaimed, My Morning Jacket recently did a stint with the Boston Pops which was very successful. I think that it would be a very special treat for the Louisville audience to be able to enjoy a re-creation of that show.

Led Zeppelin and KISS. They did say they wanted BIG name acts. You don't get much bigger than those 2.

ROCK AND ROLL ALL NIGHT AND PARTY EVERY DAY.
Great food along with great company is truly one of lifes best treasures.

Actually I had this same idea (I'm a big Jacket fan) and put in my two cents for MMJ already. I'm not promising I can have much of an influence on who ends up playing, but I do have something of a direct line to the decision-makers and I want to put together a list of bands for them that actual Louisvillians want to hear. That said, the acts will have to have broad appeal. So, while I would love to see Les Claypool (and the Flying Frog Brigade) Tool, etc. I just can't see Alltech going for something that , shall we say, hard-edged.

Dave Matthews

Paco De Lucia, John McLaughlin, Al Di Meola (together, or Paco De Lucia himself)

Lyle Lovett and His Large Band

Cavalia (of Cirque d'Soleil)

Great suggestions. I'll put em on the list. Someone at Alltech must be familiar with Cavalia, but if they aren't, they will be soon. Thanks everyone for your suggestions. There will be an announcement/presentation during halftime at the UK/Tennessee game tommorrow. I don't think anyone is booked yet though.
