Handyman suggestions

by Sherrie G » Thu Dec 27, 2007 10:01 pm

Does any one know where I can find someone reliable to replace a fascia (trim?) board on my patio? It probably is a simple job for someone handy, but DH doesn't have time to be handy. :)

I'm afraid if I don't get this board replaced relatively quickly, other boards will need to be replaced.

I rely on Ryan Bruzan owner of "little things: Home Improvements, LLC, Phone 533-8282" His card says, "You name it, We hang it! Artwork, awnings, banner, bar accessories, bath accessories, blinds, canopies, ceiling fans, clock, clotheslines, custom closets, doors, draperies, file holder, flags, light fixtures, mailboxes, mirrors, trim work, custom patio covers, paintings, pictures, plants, rope lighting, sconces, shelving, shutters, telephones, TVs, wall cabinets, wall paper. . .”

I have been using him for all my odd jobs for the past two years. Very reliable, neat/clean, and punctual.

Old phone number

by Sherrie G » Wed Jan 02, 2008 2:27 pm

Gayle,

I tried the number you gave me. Unfortunately the gentleman who answered said I had the wrong number (I read the number I had to him to verify that I didn't misdial).

If you have another number, please pass it along. I'd still like to try Ryan.

I did make an appointment with Bluegrass Handyman in the meantime.

Thanks,
Sherrie

Oh, Sherrie! I'm so sorry. Ryan's number is (502) 533-8282. Don't know how I managed that. The other number belongs to Mirror, Mirror on Shelbyville Rd., a lovely store belonging to Erick Herron who has created original mirrors for me in my last two homes. I will go and edit my previous post.

Ryan is coming tomorrow morning to take down my Christmas tree and outdoor hangings. I'll tell him to expect your call.

I called Ryan, but haven't heard back from him. I ended up calling another company for an estimate in the meantime.
