All pet owners want to feed their animal companions well. It just makes good sense. The better you feed your pets, the healthier they are likely to be. But sometimes, money is an issue. Now there's no need to sacrifice quality in the name of economy.
We want to introduce you to a relatively new company that started doing business here in the Louisville area about 8 months ago. They're called
Mister Buck's Genuinely Good Pet Food Company from Bloomfield, Indiana (not far from Bloomington). They make a super-premium natural and holistic line of dog and cat foods. Their objective is to make the best quality food they can and sell it to consumers at the most economical price possible.
Their foods have
no corn(filler),
no soy (filler) and
no wheat (another filler). Animals can't digest corn any better than we can. They can't digest soy very well either. Same for wheat, which is known to be a common trigger for allergies in dogs. Generally speaking, I encourage dog owners all the time to
avoid feeding foods which contain corn, wheat or soy. Check the label on the food you're currently feeding your pets and you may be surprised at the first three or four ingredients.
Mister Buck's is a tiny company with a huge heart and a giant social conscience. They are strong supporters of animal welfare organizations and police K9 units. They recently donated a year's supply of their food to both the Indiana State Police
and the Louisville Police K9 unit. They are also generous donors to local animal welfare organizations like ours.
Mister Buck's offers a broad line of canned and dry dog foods as well as dry cat food. Check them out at
http://www.mrbuckspetfood.com. Most of their product line has been on the shelf at the Rainbow Blossom on Lexington Avenue since January and can be delivered by Rainbow Blossom upon request to their other locations with a day's notice.

She loves Mister Buck's.
