Dubya coming to New Albany!

by David Clancy » Sun Nov 11, 2007 11:35 am

Not really food related except the bushies are setting up camp in my empty restaurant.......THE HORROR!! Talk about kicking a guy when he's down! Anyway, if anyone can put enough gas in their car, stop over to New Albany on Tuesday and join the festivities ( I will be a quarter-mile down the street behind the barricades with my "will work for food sign in hand") -Dave

P.S. Bring some beer Roger!

You should be honored Dave. I personally want to see Bush install martial law in the US. War is god for the coffee business.

You wish. I'll bet he lands at Standiford Field, er, Louisville International, and screws up traffic all the way over to New Albany and back.

I just wish Mayor Jerry and Chief White had the cojones to tell the Secret Service that if they can't protect the guy without shutting down an entire city, we'd just as soon have them keep him safe at home.

I'm not sure that a lot of us would see the humor in that.

Now that's just mean. As far as I'm concerned, even D.C. is too close for comfort.

And on that note, did anybody see a recent cartoon, Cheney and Bush, Cheney sitting somewhat behind Bush and wearing the usual scary expression he must have got when he was a kid and didn't pay attention when his mom said, "If you keep making that face, it'll freeze that way."

Anyway, the caption bubble over Bush's head:

"The only water bill I won't veto is waterboarding."

A little gallows humor for scary times.

By the way, did I mention that we went to see that movie about the Lars dude who bought the sex doll to be his girl friend?

Meanwhile, Dave, I'll be downtown Tuesday wearing my "These Machines Kill Fascists" t-shirt.

WITH beer.

As a Hoosier I certainly hope they'll perform an exorcism after he leaves. Probably picked the Grand because it's about the size to fit all the supporters he has left in the Western Hemisphere.

The first movie I ever saw was at the "GRAND" It was some Flipper thing I can barely remember.

How ironic that I feel my fleeting memories of the Flipper movie are so much better than anything that comes out of our President's yap.

No , really, I do. It's reassuring to sure that so many people are finally seeing through this presidential farce.

Kids, if ya don't know what to do with all these extra civil liberties, vote for Rudy. He'll take some of them off your hands!
