National Trust for Historic Preservation to Hold Public Forum
Open Discussion on Louisville Preservation Fund

The National Trust for Historic Preservation is pleased invite the general public to
a forum on the creation of a Preservation Fund for the city of Louisville. The forum
will take place on Monday, July 23 at 2:00-4:30 p.m. in Baron's Theater located at
131 West Main Street in the Whiskey Row Lofts building.

John Hildreth, Vice President for Eastern Field Services, National Trust will lead
the forum that features six preservation fund experts who will share their expertise
(listed below). The forum will commence with the results of focus group discussions
taking place earlier that day. Industry experts will share their experience with
their respective preservation funds and follow with a question and answer session
with those in attendance.

A Preservation Fund for the city of Louisville would provide funding to acquire,
repair, rehabilitate, and develop historic sites that preserve Louisville's cultural
heritage. Donors have already pledged over $2 million to this Fund.

Forum Panelists Include:
Mary Anthony, Executive Director, 1772 Foundation
Daniel Carey, Executive Director, Historic Savannah Foundation
Myrick Howard, President, Preservation North Carolina
Kathy Kottaridis, Executive Director, Historic Boston
Mark McDonald, President, Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation
Kim Trent, Executive Director, Knox Heritage
John Hildreth, Vice President for Eastern Field Services, National Trust for
Historic Preservation

The forum is free and open to the public. However, reservations are required.
Please email Laura Logsdon at llogsdon@downtowndev.org or call (502) 614-4122 to
reserve your space.
