We purchased a Honda self propel last year. We, er I should say my husband, likes the Honda. If I remember correctly, it was a pick by Consumer Reports.

I was just thinking about my Honda's life span today, which is almost seven years. Most dependable I've ever owned.

Honda makes a great mower, I've owned two and can't say anything bad about their performance...Toro also makes a great ("Personal Pace") mower and I've owned one of those as well. Both products are made in the U.S.A....Toro is an American Company based in Minnesota.

For $219, I really don't think you'll beat this one. Nice Kohler engine on a Husqvarna.

Mine just fired right up this weekend after sitting for months. I like mowers that work without problems or excess fussing.
