Wow! Everybody get your order in now for a penis necklace! (fashionable anywhere!)

I am wondering exactly where he'll live. They can't move him around like the penguins.

Forgive me ... but the necklace thing is classless. Proves money doesn't buy class.

Yeah, that was my initial thought too, which surprised me a little since 21c is essentially classy. Then I wondered if it was a generational thing, and we're just too old to get it.

I'm willing to agree with that thought relating to many things.

But I've given up trying to understand the truly modern art world. Not spoken as a chair of an art museum should speak!

In the 60's 70's and part of the 80's the building that now houses 21 c was a sewing factory that both my sisters , my mother and actually I worked at while in college. I can say for a fact that the women working there would have had so much fun telling jokes over and about that fake statue. They knew had to have a good time and stil get their work done...most like my Mom have long since passed on as well as the factory.

So anybody know where it is going to go? Too tall to go in the first level gallery; I'm guessing in the lower level main Gallery with 2 story ceiling. But wouldn't it be fabulous if he put it outside on Main for everyone to see? :D ( can you imagine the zoning brouhaha over that?  )

Am I the only one that's heard about Laura and Steve's collection of phallic art?? Seems right up their alley.

Branden at the Broken Sidewalk blog had more on this story several days ago - I should have thought to post it here then - and he has some reason to think it's going to be outside:
