Congrats to you sir on Louisville Hot Bytes being the #2 favorite blog as listed in LEO's Readers Choice picks! Not too shabby considering how many zillions of blogs are out there! :!: :!: :!:

Well, durn! If I had known we were in the running, I would have campaigned for it! Probably if I'd asked everyone here to vote, we coulda won.

I never campaign for stuff like that, though ... it seems so needy ...

Robin,

My sincere apologies. I did vote for Leo awards, but neglected to vote in that category. I never even thought of this site as a "blog" (and technically it's not). If I had, I would have voted repetitively for you (as urged to do so by some of our crew) regardless of the rules  ).

I hope I am forgiven for not rendering unto Caesar what is his....

Dinna fash ye'self, Deb (it's Talk Like A Pirate Day) ... I didn't even know we were in the running, and if I had, I doubt that I would have felt comfortable shilling for votes. Running No. 2 without a campaign pretty much tells the story.

(Don't forget, by the way, that LouisvilleHotBytes column in LEO is titled "Eat'N'Blog," and the LHB main pages do use WordPress content-management software now, which I suppose qualifies it as a blog.)

It's all over the news! (although I am not remotely as creative as Robin in figuring out how to put in writing how a pirate sounds ...)

... guess I shouldn't have called it "news," actually!
