Sadness: Lost a kitty pal

One of our herd, Joe Gray, had to be put to sleep today. He was fine last night but woke up this morning with his rear legs paralyzed and in pain. Blood clot. He was a great cat, intelligent and sweet, and I'll miss him. I won't repeat the details I've posted elsewhere ... those interested are free to click to our Wine Forum,

He was a very special cat, communicative and loyal, and I'll miss him. Oops, already said that ...

Robin and Mary,
Our thoughts are with you both in the loss of Joe Gray. He certainly was a beautiful kitty and looks so regal on your pillow! Our pets are so much a part of our families--know you will miss him.

So sorry for your loss. We've lost several kitty pals throughout the years and it never gets any easier.

Dear Robin and Mary
I am so very sorry for the loss of your kitty. I know how much you guys love and care for them. Few people go to the great length you go to take care of and show affection for your feline family members. You gave him a fine home while he was alive and I'm sure he appreciated it.

Anne and I both want to say were sorry for your loss. As was posted above, it never gets any easier. We lost a couple of long time friends this winter. It was a real bummer, but it did open up room for one more rescue kitty. This little guy(Bob) had his tail cut off with scissors and then was repeatedly stabbed with an ice pick. Despite his trauma he one of the most loving and gentle cats we have ever had. He loves people and has been a real hit with the greenhouse customers.

The tall one wants white toast, dry, with nothin' on it.
And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

Robin and Mary,

Pets always teach us about our hearts and then take part of it with them when they go. So sorry for your loss.

just saw this.... and ohhh i am a big cat person, i had many in my time. i am soo very sorry you lost your friend and family member Robin. They wiggle their way into our hearts and lives to a point where it seems we cannot part, sadly owners usually outlive their furry children. Maybe God made it that way to ensure these voiceless hearts would be taken care of from beginning to end.
