Louisville's Germantown and Schnitzelburg Book

by Michele Brinke » Mon Feb 14, 2011 9:14 am

The book is being released today. You will be able to find them around town and at a couple bookstores, but we have also worked out a deal with a local business to sell the books close to home and donate some of the money from the book sales to help a couple local organizations in our neighborhood. On February 14th, Goss Avenue Antiques And Interiors at 946 Goss Avenue will be doing this. The book will cost $21.95. The 1st shipment will only be 100 books so they should be selling out pretty fast. You can also have them mail you one for an additional $5. This is also a great gift idea! Order from them and help your neighborhood! (502)637-4878
We will also be having a book signing with the author on Feb. 19.
The history and pictures revealed in this book are fantastic!

Is this one of the Arcadia Publishing books? I had a VERY small part in the Butchertown version and love these. Fantastic snapshots into a neighborhood's history.

Yes, it's Arcadia. The pictures are great. I need to check out the Butchertown edition.
