Heimerdinger Cutlery, a family icon of the local business community, would like to announce the celebration of 150 years of family business tradition. Heimerdinger was listed in the 1861 Louisville City Directory for the first time as A. Heimerdinger--Cutler and Sewing Machine repair. . . . We are proud to say that we are one of the oldest cutlery stores in the nation.
A year of celebration is planned, starting with a four-day birthday party honoring the 4th generation owner, Henry Heimerdinger from February 23rd thru 26th.
