Good optometrist

by Nimbus Couzin » Mon Feb 07, 2011 1:54 pm

As subject says, I'm in need of an optometrist...time to get some new glasses!

I had one before in New Albany, but he was a bit "creepy."

Thanks for any advice....

Dr. Catherine Newton in the Springs Medical Center on Dutchmans Lane. Outstanding, and the office staff is extremely cordial and helpful. They also win special praise for not overbooking and generally meeting appointments (within reasonable parameters) on time.

You've also got to love a place with the wit to put a Shakesperean spin on their business name: Eye of Newton.

Thanks Robin!

(and yes, I do like the name)

"Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg, and howlet's wing,--
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble."
