As of today, businesses and individuals can opt out of receiving paper-based phone books using a new Website called the National Yellow Pages Consumer Choice & Opt Out Site.

Thanks for the info Robin. Seems like I get 5 or 6 phone books a year.

I hope this will work. It's supposed to take you off the *mail* list for Yellows, but I'm not sure whether the publications that send people around to toss them on your front porch will do a good job of following up, or not. Still, it can't hurt to try!
