Well done!

I got to this conversation late! I personally like Vision First. (Disclaimer..I work in Lasik) but sometimes we have to refer patients out if we can't help them, or they need routine exams. There are 2 Drs. which I've met that do a really great job. Dr. Rallo on Poplar Level and Dr. Rabaut (she floats btwn 2-3 stores on the east end.) Dr. Rabaut is the sweetest person..I actually used to work with her when she was at Lasik Plus. I think she gives people a lot of personal attention. If you're in need of an ophthalmologist I'd recommend Dr. Mark Cassol. He just moved into an office on Fairfax but has also been practicing at the VA for years. He's very kind, and one of those Drs that will really listen to you and isn't in a hurry to just get to the next patient.

Megan, thanks for the testimony! Vision First sounds really good, and I appreciate you adding your input to this topic, which will remain online for others to read.

Since I already had been to my eye doc (Bob Williams at Taustine Eye Center in the Medical Arts Building on Eastern Parkway) and had my prescription in hand, I didn't really need another doc, but I can say that at this point I was very impressed with Krebs in St. Matthews for service and style. The people were all very friendly and seemed highly professional, and they are proud to be a multi-generational local firm. I'll have more to say next week when the glasses come in, but I already know I'm going to like the frames - I'm recycling an older Flexon set that I just loved. :D
