There are more Greyhounds living in Kentuckian than you might imagine! If you have one or if you've ever thought about adopting a retired racing Greyhound, we'd love for you to join us at our annual gathering on Saturday, October 30, 2010 (Noon to 5 PM).
In 2009, we moved our big gathering to the Louisville National Guard Armory, off Crittenden Drive, adjacent to the KY Fair & Expo Center and I-65, just behind the Cracker Barrel. This is an AWESOME facility which allowed us to have nearly 100 dogs and at least that many humans together -- indoors -- for our biggest and best gathering ever.
Once again, the 2010 event is all indoors, so don't worry about the weather! The hours are Noon to 5 PM (Eastern Daylight Time) on Saturday, October 30th. A $5 admission donation is requested from all adults -- that includes lunch. Tons of raffle items, silent auctions, a couple of live auction items, a half-dozen vendors and much, much more.
Check out http://www.GPALouisville.org/Reunion.htm for details, schedule of events, clues about some of the raffle items available and so forth.
If you have any questions, drop us a line at GPA@GPALouisville.org.
All Greyhounds and the people who love them are welcome at this event. However, we ask that attendees leave their other pets at home.
