Murdered man on Campbell St

by jpdurbin » Thu Jul 26, 2007 10:16 am

I have no idea how such defective children have been brought up to beat and kill such a nice kind man. I had seen Filippi all over the highlands and he always had a smile on his face and would assist you in anything he could. I had seen him a few days before and, as always, he was a charm. He was a very good man that lived a somewhat poverty life. He was a proud Cuban-American that always had a few American flags hanging off his cart he collected cans in for a little added cash. He loved this country only to have our country create such animals that murdered him. It is time to find the animals and ‘youth-inize’ them.

On a side note: I could have been the beaten man on that street. I was actually intending on heading that way on that street at the time of his attack but ended up staying home. In the past few years there have been attacks by the defectives on the elderly and disabled, including myself, within three blocks of his murder by five young black males. Three of the attacked were hospitalized, one for bad injuries. The defects were caught then released by the court system. I have informed the police to look into them.

Oh my god! It was the "can man?!?!" I didn't know that and I am SO sorry to hear that.....

He was always a very nice man!

I don't even know how to begin to process how someone can have such little regard for other human beings.

Sorry to hear that this has happened JP. You spoke briefly about it in the chat tonight and now I know the rest of the story.

As you may or may not know JP, I studied in that area and came up with
the conclusion that east of tenth street has a real problem.

It is a war zone after dark. People are killed over 50 dollar debts to crack dealers that exist in shadows. Take one out two take his place.

Retaliation results in more killings..on and on and on.

Our friend the can man was killed for a $20 piece of dope.
What a tragedy.

I'm clueless, too, but for the record, if anyone here would like the idea of live forum chatroom sessions, we have one on the wine-tasting pages that's open to LouisvilleHotBytes:

It looks like two teens, age 14 and 15, have been charged in Mr. Padrossa's murder. Story from the C-J:

According to my neighbor friend who witnessed the attack

by jpdurbin » Sun Jul 29, 2007 9:14 am

According to the thugs’ attorney, they only hit him once and he fell to the ground and that’s how the fatal injury occurred and they did not mean to beat him so bad. According to my neighbor friend who witnessed the attack, they smashed his head into a brick wall numerous times. These vicious animals need to be put down.

I guess it's totally wasted on them that you don't hit people, period- whether it's just one hit or twenty. I wish I could ask them face to face what made them think it would be fun or okay to beat someone. I'd like to ask them if that's the way their mother raised them, is that the way their church raised them? Did it ever occur to them that that man might be somebody's father or grandfather? Did they think that doing something like this makes them a meaningful member of society? But punks like this don't care about anything except looking hard-core, so it does not matter what I, or anyone else, was to say to them.
