Chairs

by Carla G » Sun Aug 22, 2010 8:04 pm

I'm looking to buy 2, inexpensive, wooden chairs for my dining room. Nothing special. They don't even need to match. I do prefer wood to metal but really I just need something simple to accommodate my guests in Sept. Does anyone have anything they would like to get rid of?

I'm actually getting a hand-me-down set from my sister (maybe this weekend? It's there for my taking - just need to pick it up) and will be looking for a new home for my current set. I'll be gifting it to whomever wants it. I don't sell stuff like this. It ain't that nice, but it ain't that ugly, neither. A green-legged solid oak table and two standard wooden chairs with green painted backs. You don't have to take the table unless you want to. Or you can just borrow them if you don't want to crowd your space in the future. Seriously, Carla. They're your's if you want them.

I'm in a tiny condo now so all I have room for are the chairs. Would you consider breaking the set? It sounds exactly like what I'm looking for. PM me and let me know if/when I can meet you to pick them up.
Thank you thank you thank you!

Thank you for offering Steve but I really need to break down and get a couple of additional chairs anyway. Still, I KNEW you would be one of the kind hearted souls that would offer to help. Thank you sweetie. :D

Of course I'll part the set. You're worth it, Carla. I value reading your stuff.

Sorry Carla and everyone. I really messed up the details of my furniture aquisition. I PM'ed Carla and I want to tell everyone here that she is still in the mkt for a couple of inexpensive wooden chairs (unless, of course, she doesn't want to borrow some from Steve or myself).

Again, I fell like a fool/jerk for not having my facts straight. Hopefully someone here can help out close to or as much as I wanted to.
