Office of Sustainability?

by Jeremy Lutes » Wed Aug 04, 2010 3:16 pm

Greetings all,

This is a long shot, but I'm hoping maybe someone could help me...I'm pursuing a "Green MBA", otherwise known as an MBA with a Sustainability focus. One of my assignments is to research a company that engages in sustainable business practices or that has an office of sustainability. In addition to researching the company, we have to find a manager or leader who directly works with sustainable efforts (this could be, but is not limited to, a Director of Sustainability) and conduct a short interview with them.

Many large corporations have such an office, but I'd really like to focus on a local company. Does anyone here hold such a position, work for a company that does, or have a neighbor/relative/classmate/etc. who does?

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

I'd start with Jason Lewellyn at 732 Social. He is into sustainable food, water, coal, in a big way.

or somewone with the Green Building
