Anybody watched "The Kids Are All Right"?

by Matthew D » Mon Aug 02, 2010 12:09 pm

Saw it this weekend. Hated it. When it concluded, My girlfriend said, "Let's go get a beer and talk about it." I responded, "I'm not sure that movie is worth 15 more minutes of my time."

But, now, a couple days later, I'm still thinking about that movie. Has anybody else watched it? What did you think?

I'll conclude with this - I hate when a poorly done movie keeps me thinking because all the material is so poorly executed. Feels like I am giving more time to the movie than it deserves, and this one didn't even deserve the time I spent to watch it. I'd so much rather think about a well-executed movie that leaves me with material to discuss...

And I had high hopes for this movie. Still don't understand the 96% Rotten Tomato rating (I have my theories, but I'd hold on to them for now).
Thinks the frosty mug is the low point in American history.
