As I drive from Indiana to Kentucky, I don't see any real differences in gas price/gallon. I find that a bit odd since the state tax is ~$0.12/gal higher in Indiana. Unless there is another layer of taxes in KY, it just doesn't make any sense? What am I missing? Maybe the Commonwealth should raise the gas tax to help reduce the deficit since it doesn't appear taxes have a material impact on price at the pump.
