Oh lord please keep those things out of Louisville. I can barely stand to watch games in my home with that stupid buzzing sound going full force for every match. I'd go crazy if I was in a bar and that sounds was on both the TV AND live.

More seriously, I read somewhere today - NY Times, I think - that the ESPN engineers are using electronic magic to tone down the specific frequencies of the vuvuzelas. Univision may be doing the same. The buzzing sure sounded considerably muted during the game just ended, although that may have been psychological as Uruguay thrashed South Africa 3-0.
