pimp my delivery truck

by John Hagan » Wed May 26, 2010 3:43 pm

For those of you that frequent the Bardstown rd farmers market, you might remember seeing our 30 some year old, ugly mail delivery truck there. Well after screwing around for the better part of last season getting her running like new,we decided to make her look as good too. My Mom is the person who is most often selling plants for us at the market, and this is "her" truck. She never wants to take any of our other vehicles there. So, part for the business and part to make Mom happy, we got a nice paint job. Knowing that the truck was often a subject of discussion between the other vendors(some liked the partially stripped paint look, said it was like a Monet water garden look) we knew we couldnt have her drive a "normal" white truck. I found a place in the UK that makes hippy type vehicle decals and ordered a a bunch. Well, Mom was thrilled and has spent the better part of the last two days making her truck "funky". If you see her at market, stop by and let her know what you think of the truck. Thanks

Nice decals, but I'm surprised you'd drive a non-locavore Chevy.
