Yawn.

Does anyone watch this show?

I've gotten where I can't stand the "reality" food shows.

No offense to annemarie for having posted it, though!

It's the only cooking show I still watch. I enjoy it very mutch.
I thought about applying a few years back to try to be on the show. But now I don't think that I have the skill set to make it very far in the competition with the level of talent they seem to have been getting the past few years.

I can't speak to the talent Dano but you probably wouldn't have made the demographics "cut". They don't seem to have much room on these shows for Straight/Male/Caucasian/Small Midwestern City Chefs with no visible tattoos. Now if you had "issues"...like you were a flaming prick or had some handicap that would evoke the "pity factor" ya might have had a better chance. :P

I don't watch the show on a regular basis...a bit too much "drama" for my tastes but I DO agree with Dan that the talent level certainly seems to be pretty high for this one. I'm FAR more irritated with most of the shows on The Cake-Competition Network. For example "Chopped" makes me want to gouge my eyes out with my car keys. That being said SOMEONE must watch these shows or they wouldn't be so prevalent. Probably popular with a lot of people "in the business" I'm guessing.
