Air cards

by Carla G » Thu May 06, 2010 9:55 am

I'm considering getting some sort of USB air card for my laptop. (I need to use my laptop while I'm out and about.) Is anybody using a service that they're really happy with? I am specifically interested in any ATT cards. (I think they have 4 or 5 different cards available.)
Anybody?

I had service with Verizon for several years, and had nothing but good things to say about their service. It was fast, and I never found a dead spot. I can easily recommend them.

My brother uses AT&T and has no complaints. Can't find enough free Wi-Fi in Louisville?

We don't have an "air card" but friends of ours have Verizon and their comments basically mirror what Todd said. AT&T pisses me off one more time and I'll give you a "first person" review.

Yeah there's a bunch in town but I really need something more dependable for business reasons.
Steve, I'm awaiting your first person review of ATT!
Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Carla,

I was just implying that AT&T has used up all their P-person "Get Out of Jail Free" coupons. They piss me off one more time and I'll dump them in favor of a Verizon air card.
