Plant Giveaway

by Robin Garr » Sat Apr 24, 2010 9:43 am

My bride the gardener has an excess of garden plants, and she's offering a bunch free to a good home:

bee balm (monarda), fuscia
chinese forget-me-not (Cynoglossum amabile)
datura
fennel, bronze
hollyhock
nigella
pink primrose (Oenothera speciosa)
rue (meadow rue)
thyme (mother of thyme)
iris (plain ol' purple)
russian sage

If you would like any of these plants, please PM or Email me by May 4 and we will arrange a pickup time.

How can anyone have too much thyme an sage?

You're good folks for spreading the wealth!

Robin-
Thanks for facilitating Mary's big plant give away. NJ is enthused about her haul.
Thanks again for the generous offer.

Many thanks from me as well Robin. I'll take some pictures for Mary when the plants get established in their new home!

And I'll third that sentiment. It was very nice of both of you, and Mary worked so hard getting everything out of the ground. We got our iris, bee balm, datura, hollycock, and primrose in the ground last night.

Gary Fox, thanks again for the plastic bag - we were woefully unprepared.

Yes, thank you both for the generosity- my friend, Deb, is as happy as a pig- well she's very very happy.
Brad- happy to be of a little help, good luck on your first garden.
