I got this straight from the horse's mouth yesterday afternoon: One of the Hagans will be at the St. Matthews Farmer's Market Saturday morning. (That's the one at Beargrass Christian Church.)

Oh, thank you, Justin. I don't know what I was thinking. Of course, on Saturday. I'll go change my previous entry.

Will another Hagan be at Bardstown Road? I need tomato plants and a marigold plant to keep the buggies away.

I do believe so. I think all that was left to decide was who was going where.

Hi, thanks for the kind words and the interest in where we will be....I (John) will be over at Beargrass (first market day of the year) and my Mom will be back at her usual spot at Bardstown rd (between Dreamcather and the coffee girl)farmers market this Saturday. I am always at Phoenix Hill market every Tuesday afternoon as well.We will have tomatoes and pepper plants at all three, but keep in mind we sell out rather quickly at each venue. I can always hold something for you if send me a PM. Thanks again.

4 grape vines, 2 bulb plants in front planters (no clue), croxiss?, a few ferns with mint, onions in following planters, mint, box woods, ajuga, knockout roses, and day lillies.

I'll get some better pics plus add the rest of the courtyard.

I'm so excited and thought you all would appreciate: I harvested my first beans this week! :D
( gambled with planting them very early this year, and for once it worked!)

Me too. I have been enjoying my home grown peas, beans, and cucumbers for about a week. Come on maters!

So I've already killed off a basil plant this season and now need to find a replacement...anyone have any suggestions on where I can find a fairly large basil plant? Some decent size mint plants would be nice too...dog's could use some breath mints!

Mint is like herpes... You will never get rid of it unless it is in an enclosed area. and good luck on that...

At the St Matts market Thienemans (sp?)had some really large basil pots for sale. I think they were about a ten or twelve inch pot with a plant about the size of a basketball. I think it was Thienemans at least, might of been another vendor nearby, but they are known for their herbs.
Also, ditto what JP said about mint.
