I don't know about momentum, but I agree that this would be a more useful forum without the bargain posts.

I don't know about that. If you look at the number of non-shopping threads here over the last few months the pickings are rather slim. I know I've mentioned this before (yeah, I'm repeating myself), but the best way to make this particular place more useful is for more people to post more stuff. I'm new to this area, but as I learn my way around, I will surely post more in this forum.
Kudos to Robin, if/when, he creates a new venue for bargains, but unless folks step up to fill the void, not much will change in my opinion.

I think it's accurate to say that there used to be more posts on "All About Louisville" that were Louisville-centric, non-advertisement posts, but this forum has become mostly something else. I appreciate Robin considering accommodating those who want coupons and deals under another heading, as most of those aren't Louisville-centric anyway.
