Yeaaaaaaaaaah, that is great news. I love happy endings. Think I might have to celebrate by starting happy hour a weee bit early today. Think I'll have a Kitty Cocktail in honor of a loved one finding a loved one (and then graduate to more potent offerings).

We're happy for ya Gayle.

thank goodness for the happy ending!

isn't it hillarious how kitties will hide in the house, knowing full well that you are calling their name and searching for them? they hide until you've stopped calling and opening closets and drawers. they must be certain you have given up the hour-plus long search and only then will they saunter into the room and look at you as if you are insane. this sounds crazy but i swear my ruby sue has rolled her eyes at me! a dog would never manipulate it's master in such a way. pick up a sack of treats and give it a shake, or call it's name with any distress in your voice whatsoever, and wherever a dog is in the house, it will stop what it's doing and rush to your side. you gotta love those loyal pooches, and love the bratty kitties, too :)
chi mangia bene, viva bene.

amen.
