It's been very windy (and rainy) all day, sometimes more, sometimes less. So far, though, nothing spectacular or particularly dangerous, although I did wait to go down to the mailbox during one particularly big windy spell.

Ward- I haven't seen any news yet, but in driving around St Matthews, Cresent Hill, Clifton I saw no further damage. A freind says his power is out on Goose Creek.

4th and Oak looks like a war zone (so I could not resist "gawking"). They are saying now there was some type of explosion. LG&E must have rerouted a lot, because power was on around it.

Crescent Hill, at least, seemed to wear the luck badge this time ... the midday storm sort of separated and went around us, and the evening winds were eerie and reminiscent of Ike but didn't seem to do any local damage.
