Oh, hey, pro sports!

I guess I'm a Cards fan. I certainly cheer for them when they play UK, get excited if they make it into the Final Four or a bowl, and I have two degrees from U of L, so I've earned the right to wear the colors. I can't say I really get all worked up about them, though.

I sure do get worked up though, and MARCH MADNESS is here baby. Spring football is just around the corner. Unfortunately, our ladies b-ball team got pounded by UCONN.

I go to as many games as I can. I've got several relatives and friends who give me tickets when they can't go. I was able to go to 5 home games this year -- I could have done more if I didn't have to work, blah.

I'm such a big basketball fan, I even themed my pizza shop after it.

I go to all the football home games and even travel to a few. I was able to attend 5 basketball games and that was awesome. I live just down 22 from your business. I need to come check it out. I looked at your website but it said it's still under construction. I was able to figure out that some of the links work. The meat madness and full court pizzas have my name written all over them.

:D I've got two degrees from there, and hard earned they were, too.
My only nephew outdid me, tho. He's a grad of Speed School and heading for his Master's. Brag, brag, brag! I used to really get into U of L basketball back when Crum was at his best. His teams were always exciting back then. I'm still very happy and satisfied when they win and I'll watch a game if I am free at the time. Now, I'm feeling a tad guilty.
I even grew up kind of next door to U of L. We were blue-collar South Enders and lived close. I did develop some animosity as a kid when they kept growing and buying up the houses we lived in. I got tired of moving.
I lived where the Gym is now on Brook Street when I was 11. I still think of it as "the new Gymnasium" that took another of our homes away.
I got over it. That was the year I decided to get a degree there.

Born and raised a diehard Cards fan. I like the way this year's team has really matured. They look poised for a good run in the NCAA tourney.

Go CARDS!

Daughter and Son-In-Law had a Cardinal themed wedding! Red and black table linen and toppers, red flowers and black accents. Cardinal head ice sculpture. The best was when the trio played the U of L Fight Song as they entered the reception. It sounds totally different on strings!

I also have two degress from U of L and hubby is working on his second U of L degree. Damn we have "invested" a lot in U of L over the years.
