I saw the previous posts regarding dentists, but we need one that is VERY good, particularly for people who are going to need the deep cleaning. I've heard of dentists that do fine for regular cleanings, etc., but we're going to need the more invasive cleaning, and not all dentists are good at that. We currently have MetLife. We prefer someone close to home, which would be the east end, near the Summit.
I apologize in advance - I have more referral inquiries coming...

Kim, we must be neighbors, I too live down the street from Best Cellars.

John and I have had some major dental issues this year, due to some years of neglect and income issues - they have worked great with us and even made my teeth completely clean after I neglected them so long.
Also, since they're part of a national network, their prices are very reasonable. And they're taking new patients!
John and I are both hyper-sensitive and dentist-phobic, and they have done a great job of dealing with that. I am one tough customer when it comes to being happy with a dentist, and I'm in love with this place.

Off topic - do you get many trick-or-treaters?
Best Cellars looks ready to open their doors on schedule, and I can't wait!
Robin Garr wrote:Kim, we go to Dr. Dennis Price, who's not quite in that part of the East End, but is on Bardstown Road out a few blocks north of the Watterson, about halfway between the Watterson and Taylorsville Road.
He is not inexpensive, but he is very good, and has done some very advanced work for friends, including one young woman who had been injured in an accident and needed serious work. He does deep cleaning and such, and he and his techs (I recommend Andrea, because she's the one I always go to) are gentle and very conscious of not causing pain.

I've recommended him to several friends. Coincidentally, I was talking with one of those friends today. And out of the blue, she thanked me for referring her to Dr. Howell.

I have had to have a crown replace and Dr. Boatright and all of assistants were great...well as great as getting a crown can be.Off topic - do you get many trick-or-treaters?As for Trick or Treaters, my husband said we get between 30-50 kids. My bet is there will be more, since it will be nice out and a Friday night. My son and I go to my sisters to help out. They decorate their front yard and it might put Hill Crest to shame. It is a lot of fun to see the adults get so scared. So if anyone is near Beechwood Village on Friday, go to the end of Marshall Dr.
I think heading to Hill Crest would be a blast. I've heard $200 worth of candy isn't enough because of the bustle over there! 2 years ago here, we had less than 10 dings of our doorbell, and last year, NONE. The neighbor across the street had a Halloween party for the kids, and I'm thinking they'll do the same this year. If we go out, maybe we'll walk down Marshall Dr. and check it out! Maybe Lou Lou's is in order!Best Cellars looks ready to open their doors on schedule, and I can't wait!I know my husband is looking forward to the wine shop opening.
BTW--we are in Barbour Manor.

We started going to him when my dad did a remodeling job for him and instead of money he gave my whole family dental work!
