When: Friday, March 12, 2010 – doors 8pm / show 9pm
Where: Headliner’s Music Hall

BLOOM STREET Celebrates 12 Years by
Bringing the Music Community Together for One Dollar.

As a testament to Louisville’s music-nurturing atmosphere, Louisville rock-n-roll staple Bloom Street celebrates their 12-year anniversary by bringing together some of the city’s most established players for a collaborative, one-time concert at Headliners Music Hall on Friday, March 12th. Admission is $1.

Bloom Street are not only great musicians, but interesting characters with a genuine belief in what they do. Their colleagues know this, so special guests from a large cross-section of Louisville’s music community will perform with Bloom Street, collaborating and swapping songs in a “Last-Waltz” style format. Through this concert, the audience will hear songs written by Arnett Hollow, the Merry Pranksters, Stonewheel, Relic, Sativa Gumbo, The Hello Darlins, Kentucky Fried Pickin, and others.

A short list of this event’s guest musicians will include:
Dave Chandler, (Arnett Hollow, Phiasco, Chitara),
Chris Rodahoffer (Arnett Hollow, the Slow Charleston),
Don Merrick (Bloom Street, Phiasco, Chitara),
Myron Koch (Paradigm, Chitara, Funk Out),
Sam Shaheen (Emily’s Garden, Gladstone, Born Cross-Eyed, Phiasco),
Tom Browning (Merry Pranksters),
Dave Howard (Ky Fried Pickin’, Relic),
Tavis Conley (Bloom Street, Ky Fried Pickin’, Sabrosa Red, Phiasco, Born Cross-eyed), Neil Hulswede (Emily’s Garden, Gladstone, The Hello Darlins’),
Tommy Potts and Jared Williamson (Sativa Gumbo),
Dave Taylor and Morgan Shallcross (Stonewheel),
Troy Yocum (the Hike for our Heroes),
and Colin Brown (CB Sound Studios).

The Slow Charleston opens the show with a set of high-intensity bluegrass.
