“The Birth of the Cool”. We saw this film over the weekend. Captivating show with wonderful archival photos and video of Davis and his contemporaries with commentary from family, friends, and those in the jazz business. Complicated and tortured like so many other genius artists. Highly recommended. Only four screenings left this week.
