Wild and Woolly closing

by Adriel Gray » Mon Jan 12, 2015 1:29 pm

With the rise of streaming video I knew it couldn't last forever. Still really love the shop and all the characters associated with it. Surprised it went for as long as it did.

Yes, Louisville is a little less weird ... although as you say, Adriel, the end was in sight. I haven't been to a video shop in years ... but I do subscribe to Netflix streaming, Amazon Prime and Hulu Plus.

Same here. It's like the closing of Ear X-tacy. Those campaigns to rush to Ear X-tacy and try and keep them in business were really short sighted. It's the end of an era, but those business models have been undermined by technology and like you Robin I'm not looking to go back. :D
