Special Weekend for Jazz in Louisville

This weekend is packed with special jazz - tonight, Roni Ben-Hur and John Goldsby, in town for the jazz educators' convention, join Jeff Sherman at Varanese, and there's a gala fundraiser at Galt House; while some of the other great visiting jazz artists will sit in with Dick Sisto's group at the Seelbach both tonight and Saturday. Then on Sunday, Renato Vasconcellos and friends from Brazil join locals Mike Tracy and Pat Lentz for an afternoon show of Brazilian tunes at the Comedy Caravan, sponsored by LJS. Those are just a few of the over 50 jazz events in Louisville over the next 10 days, as listed below:
