Louisville's 9th Annual Tribute to Townes Van Zandt
01/01/2012
at The Monkey Wrench
-
First things first - Townes Van Zandt is one of the great storytellers of American music and if you're not familiar with his work - you should be.

I don't exactly know how this tribute got started or why Louisville has such a strong Townes appeal, but Louisville's love for the music of TVZ is something to behold.

Louisville's finest singer songwriters and musicians have been raising to roof with some of the saddest songs ever written for the past eight years and will do so once again on the first of the year.

Join us on Sunday, January 1 2012 with the music of Townes Van Zandt
